In order to get this achievement, you must use one of the glass bottles. Not a can or any other thing you can throw as a distraction, only a glass bottle. There is an endless supply of bottles near the Ruins Encampment in the Geothermal Valley if you are having trouble with this. However, keep in mind that there are bottles everywhere, so just use any. You may use any projectile launching weapon to do this with. However, I did it with a shotgun. Here is a video that may help if you are struggling,
