Play the The Great Adventurers scenario as Rurik Rurikid of Novgorod. He starts with the land and gold required to create the Kingdom of Novgorod. Consider lowering the frequency of Scandinavian Adventurers in game rules if converting to Islam while still weak. The Qarmatian Qarmatian faith is a good choice for this achievement, as it combines the Fundamentalist doctrine with the Mendicant Preachers tenet for a +53% county conversion speed.
