In the prelude chapter when you are playing as Guybrush's son. Go into the Scurvy Dog shop and pick up the peg leg with a key on it. Go back outside and into the toilet. Once inside, pick up the fake piece of eight. Return to the Scurvy Dog shop and place the peg leg back where you found it.
