This level is pretty much a tutorial and the game basically gives you this as a freebie, but I'll note down the steps anyway.
- Grab the padlock from the table
- Close the door to the freezer
- Access your inventory with e, select the padlock and use it on the door
- Increase the temperature of the freezer
Mary will freeze to death over time.
