Videos not showing up in guides

I recently created a guide and pasted a YouTube link, but the video is not showing up

Try using https:// at the start of the YouTube URL instead of http://.

I'm not a dev, so not certain, but the page errors in inspect element show that the YouTube URL is an insecure resource.

I tested changing to https:// in inspect element and it does make the video show as it should. http://imgur.com/lYBQRE2

I'm guessing the site is automatically changing the URL to http as part of the message format code, as the source of the page is showing it differently.

Jack just confirmed as much. Fix coming tomorrow.

Hey Randoman, as Dave suggested this is an issue the protocols in use. At the moment we're dynamically building the embed link and we've inadvertently changed the https back to http. I've fixed this and it's just pending a site update.

I just pushed a site update live, so this is now fixed.
