Overcooked

Welcome to the walkthrough for Overcooked, a game known for focusing on couch co-op as opposed to online multiplayer. Unless you're extremely good at multitasking, you probably won't be able to finish all of the required levels with a 3 Star score, so it's recommended that you find a partner or friend to play this game with. People who own this game on Steam as opposed to on a console have reported that they are quite unhappy with the default key controls, and therefore it's also recommended that you use a controller if you have one. There are a lot of useful tips on the following page; please don't skip them, as they can really improve your scores if followed correctly.

Videos are provided on each page covering the actual levels themselves for your convenience. Overcooked's 3 Star requirements vary depending on how many active players there are, and the videos are footage of two-player co-op, but the strategies used should be easily to adapt to three- or four-player co-op if need be. All score requirement variations are listed for each level as well.

There are two DLC packs for this game, none of which contain any new achievements. The Festive Seasoning DLC is free, whereas The Lost Morsel usually goes for about $5USD. If you're interested in earning 3 Stars on the DLC levels, you can find what you're looking for in this walkthrough too.

As stated on the previous page, I highly suggest you play the game with someone else, and preferably with a controller for both of you. If you have only one controller, you could either split the controller's inputs in half, which will be a bit awkward for your hands, or one of you can use a controller while the other uses the unfavorable keyboard controls. Keep in mind that having more actual players will increase the score you need to earn 3 Stars, but since having more people means you'll get more done, it's merely a means of proportions.

Most of the time, my friend and I weren't able to get 3 Stars on a level the first time we played it, and we had to figure things out to earn the score we needed. This walkthrough consists of what we've figured out about each level, which should make things a lot easier for you. Try not to be too frustrated with the game if you're having a hard time on some of these levels, especially in the later chapters.

For each level, you need to have earned a certain number of Stars in order to advance ahead. Since you should be 3 Star-ing every level as you get to it anyway, this shouldn't be a problem; the required amounts of Stars are not listed because it shouldn't matter if you're aiming for a total of 90 Stars anyways.

By progressing through the base game and DLC, you will earn various Versus Mode kitchens and additional chef characters to use. There are no performance differences in the chefs and all are merely a cosmetic change, but it's a good idea for any active players to use different cooks to prevent any confusion as to who is controlling which cook.

As for in-game tips, it's important to know that you can drop dishes and food on the floor with absolutely no penalty; the floor is regarded as completely clean, so you can drop a whole bunch of ingredients on the floor for easy access if need be. You can also use this trick to prevent cooked food from burning without having it take up counter space. Speaking of burning food, any kind of food that you have to heat will eventually burn if not removed from the heat source in enough time. The fire will also spread across nearby tiles in the kitchen, so it's important that you always know where the fire extinguisher is in each level in the event that you need to use it to put a fire out. Burnt dishes will have to be washed, but if you think that'll take too long, you can also drop the burnt dish in a ditch, hole, river, or some similar pit to have it reappear on the counters clean as a whistle.

Dirty plates that are returned by the conveyor belt can/will be picked up in a stack for easy transportation to the sink to be cleaned, but clean dishes cannot be picked up in the same manner. The only place that clean dishes are stacked are by the conveyor, but only if they come back clean in specific levels.

Finished orders give you a base score of +20, with a tip depending on the amount of time left on the order marked by the colored bar on the top of the order card. Tips are naturally going to be larger when there's more time on the meter, so keep that in mind if you're in a time crunch and need to just get one last order in to surpass the 3 Star threshold. Orders that fail to be made within the time frame will reduce your score by 10, so try to stay on top of things when you can. If an order fails as you're making it, don't toss it; it's very likely that someone else has ordered the exact same thing, so keep it around for when that order comes along. It might already have been placed as an order.

With these tips in mind, you should be able to score what you need to much easier than you would normally be if you went into the game blind. If some of these tips don't make sense to you now, they probably will after you play through a few levels, so come back to this page if you need a refresher.

Chapter 1 is six levels long, not including the tutorial. Each chapter also ends with a non-gameplay level where you talk to the Onion King for more story before continuing to the next chapter. You usually have four minutes to complete each level unless stated otherwise. Nearly every level in the game has varying Star requirements that change depending on how many players are controlling cooks at once; all of these variations will be listed for each level for your convenience. Additionally, you can find videos on seeing strategies of earning 3 Stars in each level in the playlist link below.

The story starts off with you, your partner (or your other controlled chef if you're by yourself), the Onion King, and most importantly, Kevin all on a rooftop as the world seems to come to an end. In an last-ditch attempt to save the kingdom, the Onion King comes up with a plan to feed the Ever Peckish as well as possible to fend him off. It isn't long before the Ever Peckish itself climbs up the building and rears it's gross meatball head.

This first encounter with the Ever Peckish serves as the game's tutorial, and the menu to be served on the rooftop Is evident of this. There are only two types of dishes that will appear, both of which are salads. Both require lettuce, and the other requires lettuce and a tomato. Your scoring on this tutorial doesn’t matter, so you aren't as rushed as you think you are here. The player on the right should pick up whichever ingredients are needed and place them on the counter in the center of the stage so that the player on the left can pick them up and chop them. Once they're chopped, return them to the center counter so the player on the right can dish the salad up. Plates are on the lower right side of the kitchen next to the Ever Peckish, so grab one of those as P1 cuts food and get ready to put some leafy greens (and possibly tomatoes) on the order before sending it to the Ever Peckish.

Regardless of your score on this level, the Ever Peckish will not be satisfied, and the Onion King will send everyone through a time portal back to the year 1993 so you can use the time to become a better cook. After His Majesty finishes telling you what to do, you can leave the castle by pressing cn_A at the southern wall of the area.

Now that the world map is accessible, you can see that the map becomes much more vibrant and nice as you finish levels. The first level available is Level 1-1, just to the southwest of the Intro Onion House. Use the bus to get over there and you can start the first real level of the game.

In this first official kitchen, there's only one thing on the menu: onion soup. Delicious. You also have only 2:30 for this stage, but you'll have more time in later stages. Each order of soup always requires three of the same ingredient so pick up some onions and pass them over the counter to the other cook, and have them chop it up. Put the onions back on the counter so the first cook can put them into the pot.

You can add each ingredient to the soup one at a time and the pot will heat to match the mass of the contents of the soup at that moment, so you can use this to save time in later levels, but you'll have to keep an eye out for the temperature; if something being heated becomes too hot, it will eventually burst into flames if you don’t take it off in time, requiring you to use the fire extinguisher somewhere in the kitchen to put everything out. The pot will also have to be washed out in the sink.

When you have a nice serving of onion soup ready to go, take a plate and use it on the pot to put the soup into the plate. I don’t know how that makes sense either. It just works. You can also pick up the pot and put it down on a normal counter tile so you wont have to worry about the soup burning. When the order is ready, take it to the conveyor belt to the lower left and the order will be complete.

The timer for this stage starts only when you complete the first order, granting you a lot of free time to get used to how things work around the kitchen. After this order is complete, though, the dirty dish will eventually pop up next to the conveyor belt. To reuse this plate, you need to take it to the sink and clean it. Since all you have to do is make onion soup, it won't take too long for you to surpass the minimum score needed for a 3 Star ranking this time around.

This kitchen is placed smack-dab in the middle of the road, and pedestrians will walk straight through it as they commute to wherever they need to go. They can't be budged, so you need to move between the two halves of the kitchen with the positions of these people in mind.

Now that you've basically mastered onion soup as much as anyone could, you're now introduced to tomato soup, which made the exact same way but with tomatoes instead of onions. The cook on the right can make things easier for themselves by placing the vegetables on the counter to the left of the ingredient boxes so that the guy cooking and cutting the food can simply walk over and grab it. You can, of course, break this cycle whenever you think the two cooks can multitask better than this. Make sure to keep your plates clean in preparation for more orders.

For this level, you'll be cooking on a pirate ship. The two vertical stretches of countertops will sway back and forth with the ship every once in a while, so you'll have to readjust yourself based on how they move. You can now also make mushroom soup, the last of the three variations of soup in the game. For this map, it'd make sense to have someone by the pots and cutting tables at all times, and the first thing that you should do is move the dishes from the left counter to the one on the right; that counter will always be by the conveyor belt so you can get to a dish whenever an order is ready. You'll also notice that there is no sink here either. The dishes will come back clean, which is a luxury not to be taken for granted.

The second cook should actually stay at the very bottom of the kitchen at all times unless there's an order to be delivered. As the first cook makes the soup, the second cook can turn the dishes in, and staying at the bottom means you don’t have to worry about the counters moving. The first cook will likely have to run around the second to move back to the pots every once in a while, but that's just a small inconvenience. With the second cook at the bottom of the stage, they can easily access all three ingredients as well as both cutting boards, maximizing cutting speed.

You'll be back in a real kitchen for this level, and now you'll be cooking burgers. Burgers always need cooked meat and a bun, so the first order of business should be to get as much meat cooked as soon as you can. As for the cooks, the cook on the right should set up all the plates in the thin hallway between the two halves of the kitchen. This will make things easier for both cooks, as the one on the left won't have to run through the hallway to get to the plates where they usually are. You need to make a lot of orders for this level, so keeping jobs optimal is key.

The cook on the left should first cut some meat and give it to the second cook so it can be cooked. After the plates have been set up in the hallway, buns can immediately be placed on all of these plates. When that's good to go, check the orders at the top of the screen for any burgers that need lettuce or tomatoes and prepare those accordingly. These vegetables can be placed into the buns as soon as they're cut, so orders will now just have to wait on meat to be cooked.

The cook on the right will be in charge of cooking the meat, after the clean plates are in the hallway first, of course. Orders depend on meat, so this cook will also be turning in orders when they're done, as well as taking any new meat from the cook on the left to make more burgers. When you have some free time, clean some of the dirty dishes that come back in the sink on the left side of the kitchen as the other cook continues to cut up all the ingredients.

1P: 30-70-120
2P: 40-80-160
3P: 50-180-250
4P: 60-200-260

You're back to making soup here. The trick to this kitchen is that you should split duties across the middle of the stage, so one cook (or more if playing with more people) should be grabbing the ingredients and cutting them while the other puts them in the pot, delivers orders, and cleans plates when there's downtime. If the cook on the right is up at the top of the screen, the cook on the left can always put ingredients into the pot themselves if need be.

As you make the first order, whichever kind of soup that may be, you can start making another type of soup as the first one is cooking so you can have it done as soon as an order comes in for it. For example, if your first order is for tomato soup, prepare three tomatoes and then move on to onions to save time for when an order for onion soup comes in. This tactic of assuming orders before they actually appear is extremely useful, especially in later levels, so it'd be a good idea to get used to this kind of thing now rather than later.

The last kitchen of Chapter 1 has you cooking burgers again. Start cutting meat and dropping it anywhere on the far-right side of the kitchen as soon as you can, because every once in a while, an earthquake will send the left half of the kitchen downwards, or the right half upwards, it's hard to tell. Either way, the left half won't be able to reach the right half, but anything on the right half can be dropped down to the left half when this happens. This is why you need to get a bunch of meat to the right side as fast as you can. You can even drop it on the floor if you want; food doesn’t spoil or anything if it touches the floor, so this is another good tactic to pick up for later.

As the cook on the right cook's meat, the one on the left should prep a bunch of vegetables for later orders. Buns are also on the right side, so you can prep the plates with those as meat cooks, and you can also drop dirty dishes to the left side instead of falling down there with them so the left cook can clean them when they have time to.

Onion Cabin 1

Drop into this cabin and you'll find the Onion King and Kevin resting by the fire. You've done well so far, but you'll have to keep working on your skills to fight the Ever Peckish later. The year is revealed to be 1995, so two years have passed since you travelled back in time at the start of the game. Leave the cabin by moving to the left, which will unlock the first level of the second chapter.

Chapter 2 is almost twice as short as Chapter 1, coming in at only four levels before you reach the second Onion Cabin.

Level 2-1

Level 2-1

1P: 50-100-180
2P: 60-120-240
3P: 60-140-260
4P: 80-160-300

The first level of Chapter 2 is a lot different than the levels you've seen so far. You'll be cooking in/on top of two trucks driving along the road, and it'll be really obvious how you should split the work. Someone should stay on the upper truck at all times, watching the meat cook and putting buns on the plates when they have the time to. Dishes come back clean here, so the upper cook can basically ride this truck for the entire game. The lower cook can cut meat and vegetables the whole time and bring them up to the upper truck whenever the upper cook is busy, or the upper cook can grab the cut ingredients if they're free instead.

Level 2-2

Level 2-2

1P: 40-90-160
2P: 60-120-200
3P: 60-120-250
4P: 60-160-270

This kitchen is a lot more stable, and you'll only be cooking soup, but the problem here is that rats will pop out to steal anything laying on the counters for too long. Any ingredient that's cut or uncut is a potential victim for theft, so try not to leave anything out for too long. Food inside the pots and orders on plates are safe, but you shouldn't be leaving a finished order on the counters for so long anyway if you can just turn it in. You can swat away rats by hitting them with the prompt given on-screen, but it's very precise, and it'd be a lot easier for you to just pick food up so they scurry back to their holes empty-handed.

You should split kitchen duties straight down the middle of the stage. Since there are onion boxes on both sides, both cooks can do onion dishes, and the respective cooks can make tomato and onion soup when the orders arise. This might be the first instance where you'll really want to use ALT to dash forwards, because you're going to want to take your ingredient and run over to the same cutting table on your side. There are sinks on both sides of the kitchen, so whoever has more time should wash the dishes when they can. With four people, you can have two cooks in the center of the kitchen cutting ingredients, and the other cooks can work on the pots and hand ingredients over to the center.

Level 2-3

Level 2-3

1P: 40-70-120
2P: 60-100-180
3P: 60-110-220
4P: 60-120-240

The third level in Chapter 4 involves a kitchen surrounded by conveyor belts. The two cooks (or up to four, of course) are split between two halves of the kitchen, and the only way to pass food and other materials to each other is by placing it on the conveyor belt and hoping the other player picks it up in time. You have two chances to pick up an item: the first is when it first reaches your side, and the second is when it starts to return back to the side it came from, so look to the north and south ends of the kitchen for anything you need to take.

The cook on the left should immediately pass some meat to the cook on the right by putting a few chunks of it on the northern end of their part of the conveyor. Then pick them up and cook them, and start sending vegetables over to the right side so they can chop those up for you. When a burger is done, send it back over to the right side so the cook there can turn it in. Watch out for any dirty dishes that the right side sends you, as you'll have to wash them in the sink behind you. Once you've got a good system going, feel free to put a bunch of ingredients on the conveyor so that the right cook can pick up whatever he needs to at a moments notice; don't clutter things up too much though, or else finished orders and dirty plates might not be able to find a place on the conveyor.

After cutting the initial pieces of meat that pass by, make sure the cook on the right passes them back as soon as possible so they can start being heated. The right cook has to do all of the cutting, so the meal output really hangs on their speed of cutting and sending food back to the left side. If the players involved agree on it, send the plates back to the cook on the left. If they have the plates, then they can send completely ready-to-go orders back so they don't have to be plated by the right cook. Keep an eye out for dirty plates that pile up by the conveyor and send them back to the left side of the kitchen as soon as you can.

Level 2-4

Level 2-4

1P: 40-60-110
2P: 60-90-160
3P: 60-140-200
4P: 120-160-220

The kitchen is split in half again, and you both have a side to manage. There are two conveyor belts in the middle that move to the left and right towards trash cans, so the cooks will have to exchange their stuff really quickly. The bottom cook has to pass a bunch of meat to the north so it can be cut up as soon as possible, and it then has to be sent back to be cooked. This setup is nearly identical to the previous level; one cook will have to cut and turn in orders, and the other has to send the ingredients to be cut, cook the meat, and wash the dishes.

Onion Cabin 2

The year is now 1999 by the end of this chapter. You've made a lot of progress in the city, but now it's time to hone your skills in more testing environments.

Chapter 3 also has four levels, but in very icy areas which might test your patience. The bright side is that the chapter will be over pretty quickly; you'll want it to be over when you start to figure out why icebergs are not proper places to cook food.

The penguins in this chapter are quite fond of fish and chips, so that's all you'll be cooking. As opposed to pots and pans, you have to fry fish filets and French fries/chips in the fryers around the southern end of the kitchen counters. What makes this level a lot more challenging than it looks is that the portion of the floor that's made of ice (which is to say, most of it) is pretty slippery, and falling off the iceberg will cost you about five seconds of your time before you respawn. There's not really much else to do in this kitchen except for cutting and immediately frying food, so you don't really need to allocate certain parts of the kitchen to specific players to make things more efficient; just get orders done as fast as you can, but communicate with each other so you know which orders are already being made. Make sure you keep an eye on the dirty dishes that come back every once in a while too.

This level takes place on another ship, so that means you should expect some countertops to move back and forth with the rocking waves. This time, the three horizontal counters will move while the center stays still at all times. Both sides of the kitchen have pots for each chef to use, and dishes come back clean. It's easy to just dash around the pots when the counters are at one side, so the cooks don't really have to worry too much about being in the right spot when the counters decide to move.

For a general rule of thumb, one cook should be bringing ingredients over to the other chef by placing them on the nearby counter so that the other chef can start cutting them to make soup. When the counters move, follow this same instruction and continue to make soup in the pots that are most useful for you to use at the time. Remember that you can also place ingredients, prepared food, and appliances on top of the ingredient boxes if need be.

More trucks on the road will ask for your cooking expertise for this level. There are two trucks at the bottom of the map, and a third that moves on the top half of the screen. This third truck is where all of the ingredients, conveyor, and returning plates are, so movement for this level is crucial.

Both cooks start off standing on the moving truck, but it'll be stationed by the truck on the right for now. One player should dedicate themselves to frying fish and chips on the truck to the right; this player should also take any of the two ingredients required and immediately start cutting and frying. Since the second cook can't get to the truck with pots on it for now, they should quickly pick up and drop as many ingredients onto the floor/roof of the truck on the right so that the first cook doesn't have to wait for it to come back later. Just leave the ingredients all over the floor and make sure that the second cook stays on the moving truck when it heads over to the left side.

When the left truck and the upper truck meet, the second cook should immediately start pouring soup ingredients onto the floor of the left truck until it's time for the upper truck to move back to the right. With all of these ingredients, the left cook can make several orders of soup without having to pluck more ingredients out of boxes later. When the truck returns to the right, the right cook should turn in any orders they have and leave the clean plates by the conveyor. Leaving the clean plates here will allow them to be used by anyone who needs to use them, as opposed to having both sides keep plates to themselves when the other cook might need them.

In summary, a cook should almost always stay on the truck on the right unless they need more ingredients or have an order to turn in. The cook on the left should dump out as many ingredients onto both of the lower trucks before starting on soup, and clean plates should stay by the conveyor for the convenience of both cooks.

The last level of the chapter takes you back to the icy depths. The kitchen is split into three areas: the left side, the right side, and the middle. Chunks of ice float through the river in the middle, and you'll have to run across these to move from side to side. Fortunately, this level is actually pretty simple to earn three stars on. Both cooks should just focus on doing whatever orders need to be done and communicate vocally with each other (if not playing by yourself) to prevent yourselves from doing the same order twice. The only tip you should really take into this level is that falling into the river costs you five seconds of respawn time, so to avoid losing any labor, do your absolute best not to fall in. Maneuvering the ice will only become more difficult in late-game stages.

Onion Cabin 3

By the time you talk with the Onion King at the end of this chapter, it will already be 2002. He's impressed by your improvement, but has also heard rumors of the Ever Peckish returning. He directs you to head north into a forbidden territory before wishing you luck and sending you on your way.

With most of the southern half of the map filled in with nice colors and landmarks, you'll be driving to the northwest to a spookier edge of the world for this chapter.

To start the chapter off right, you'll be learning a new recipe for pizza. If you don't properly bake your pizzas correctly, you'll end up wasting too much time. Make sure all of the ingredients are in the same product before putting it in the oven; nobody wants unheated cheese or room temperature sausage on their pizza. Every pizza will always require dough, sauce, and cheese, so you'll have to prep these the most out of all five different ingredients. The stage itself is supposed to be haunted, and the sets of countertops will move almost every minute. Check out the picture above; the small countertop with the plates to the top right and the space with the cutting boards will rise up and then fall back down on the opening to the left/right of them. When the counters rise, you won't be able to use them or anything on them, so keep that in mind as they start to fly upwards. If one or both of the cooks don't manage to switch to their other side of the kitchen in time, you can always run along the halls on the left side of the kitchen to reposition at least one cook on each half of the kitchen.

As for allocating cooks, it should go without saying that one cook should stay to the south and one to the north. The southern cook will work on preparing ingredients, and both cooks can cut at the same time to speed things up. As the southern cook makes more ingredients for the next order, the northern cook will be cooking the pizzas and putting them on plates. Orders will have to be turned in depending on whichever player can access the conveyor belt, and the same kind of rule should apply for cleaning dirty dishes.

This kitchen's lights are out, and you'll only be able to get a glimpse of the area around every 40 seconds or so. Make sure you and anyone else playing takes a good look at the picture above so you know where everything is beforehand. The only challenge for this level is the lighting problem, and with that being solved with the picture above, you shouldn't have any trouble at all with getting to whichever score you need to earn 3 Stars. Only the meat crate, the two stoves, and the one cutting board in the area will move, and they will occasionally rise up to fall in the single-tile spaces between the four "rooms" of the kitchen. While it is technically possible to become stuck on the far left and right sides of the kitchen, it's very hard to do accidentally.

As the moving pieces of the kitchen separate the cooks, they'll have to hand ingredients off to each other to get the job done. You can get 3 Stars with very, very minimal use of a second stove to cook meat, but it'll be a lot safer for you to try to use both to prep as many burgers as possible so your score doesn't linger within 10 of the required score by the end of your four minutes.

Level 4-4

Level 4-4

1P: 50-70-100
2P: 60-80-120
3P: 70-140-200
4P: 80-180-240

It's time for another conveyor belt level. There'll be a conveyor belt leading southward towards a trash can straight down the center of the kitchen, and since it can't be reversed, objects placed on it can only go one way. You'll be working on both pizza and burgers at the same time for this level, and the two small areas that the cooks are trapped in will occasionally move back up and down to accommodate for the fact that both cooks will have to pass stuff to the other at some point.

The cook on the right should immediately cut up meat for burgers and pass them down to the cook on the left; the cook on the left should also get food ready to make a pizza, which they can make almost in its entirely save for prepping pizza sauce. If you agree to, the cook on the right can also send the cook on the left a tomato, or they can just cut the tomato themselves later.

When the kitchen areas move to opposite corners, the cook on the left should have had around enough time to prep two burgers or so, as well as a pizza (with or without sauce). Pass the burgers to the cook on the right if necessary, but make sure you give them the pizza so it can start being baked in the oven, and shortly after the process will begin anew. There are two places that you can turn orders in, so you'll always be able to turn them in by passing orders down south. Make sure you take dirty dishes off of the dirty dish area as soon as you see them because you'll only be able to wash them in the sinks above, and you won't be able to pass dishes upwards at any point.

Onion Cabin 4

The Onion King will finally be impressed with your skills. It's now 2008, and the rumors of the Ever Peckish's return have been proven to be true. You'll have to travel beyond this world to improve even further in preparation for your battle.

The second-to-last chapter of the base game consists of six levels as opposed to the recent trend of having only four. Chapter 5, unlike the other chapters, is set in several different themed areas instead of generally having one main theme, like Chapter 3 and snowy areas.

Level 5-1

Level 5-1

1P: 50-80-120
2P: 60-100-150
3P: 120-180-230
4P: 140-200-250

Ever made burritos in space? Here's your chance to try it out. Every burrito needs a tortilla, rice, and a certain type of meat. There are only beef and chicken burritos on the menu, so you can count on having several orders of each whenever you end up having to make burritos from now on.

The cook on the left will be connected to a room with all of the ingredients and a sink to the south. They should quickly take 2-3 of each ingredient and drop them on the ground in their own room; don't bother with dropping them on the counters for now, because letting them hit the floor will save you a good amount of time. When you have the ingredients you need, press the green button to the right to make the lower room shift to the cook on the right.

The cook on the right should do the same thing when the room heads over to them, and both sides of the kitchen can continue this process for the entire duration of the level. When you have the room sent back to your side, clean any dirty plates you have first before you pull a bunch of ingredients out; clean plates will be the limiting factor to the amount of orders that you'll be able to complete, so cleaning them will be high priority.

Level 5-2

Level 5-2

1P: 50-80-100
2P: 60-90-110
3P: 60-90-120
4P: 60-100-160

In major contrast to the scenery from the previous level, you'll now be cooking in the underworld. There's a fireball machine that will constantly shoot in a straight line for the duration of the level, and there will always be one gap between the four main platforms above the lava. The thin paths between platforms will collapse and reform in a counter-clockwise pattern about every 30 seconds. Getting hit by a fireball or dropping into the lava will force you to wait five seconds to respawn, so avoid death at all costs.

You shouldn't have to worry too much about deciding who does what, since there's a fair amount of work to do at all times and the 3 Star score is relatively low. My co-op partner and I died ten times, which is 50 seconds of doing nothing total, and we scored +12 above the minimum for 3 Stars. It goes without saying that if you manage to die less than that, which should be pretty easy to do, then you should definitely manage to earn 3 Stars for yourself.

Level 5-3

Level 5-3

1P: 50-70-110
2P: 60-80-120
3P: 100-200-240
4P: 120-220-280

The Chefs Strike Back! It's time to head back to space to feed whatever the market is up there. Instead of pressing a button to alter the stage, there are two pressure switches on the ground that activate doors on the opposite half of the kitchen. So if you want to get ingredients, someone on the upper half has to activate their pressure switch for the lower cook to get through.

Let the lower cook through to the ingredients, and have them place two of each meat on the counter in the middle of the right side of the kitchen. As they do this, the upper cook should place the three plates on the middle-left counter and put rice down in the other open spots. Once the meat is placed, the lower cook should then grab and drop 3-4 tortillas on the ground on their left side of the kitchen. Once that's all set, send the upper cook to the right, start heating up the rice, and get ready for the upper cook to bring the meat back so you can finally get some orders going. As the meat is being cut, the tortillas can also be placed on plates since you have the time.

Repeat this process whenever necessary. Plates will come back clean, so the upper cook can place those back to the center when there's a bit of downtime.

Level 5-4

Level 5-4

1P: 60-80-100
2P: 70-90-110
3P: 80-120-140
4P: 60-120-160

Welcome to Hell. This level is the absolute worst, and you'll soon see why. There are two main platforms that the cooks both occupy, and there are smaller ones around it with the only stoves in the kitchen on them. You need to make more burritos while balancing heating time with food placement across platforms, as well as figure out how to pass food and other items to each other using the empty platforms, or even the stoves if possible.

The cook on the left should quickly cut some beef and run over to the pan going down the center of the stage and place it in, then take some rice and put it in the pot to the top left. As this is going on, the cook on the right should chop up some chicken and put it in the pan above the one with beef in it. After this point, it's all about vocal communication (if you're playing with someone else) and getting everything passed down to each other. The right cook should use cooked rice floating around from the left cook to make entire chicken burritos and then send them to the left cook to be sent out, but other than that, your strategy focuses nearly entirely on strong communication skills with your fellow players.

Keep in mind that rice cooks faster than meat does, and you need to be careful about starting to heat things up so that it doesn't start to tick when you can't get to it. A lot of the time, placing stuff on the moving platforms just doesn't register right, and it's pretty frustrating. Don't be too surprised if you have to replay this level many times; my friend and I sure did.

Level 5-5

Level 5-5

1P: 30-50-70
2P: 40-60-80
3P: 80-140-160
4P: 100-160-200

Due to the complexity of this level, you have five minutes for this level instead of the usual four. The return of the chefs looks a lot like Level 5-1 in that you'll be pressing buttons to shift rooms around. The moving room on the left has just a trash can in it, and the one on the right has plates, but that's it. All of the ingredients, cutting tables, and stoves are separated in such a way that no one player can reach all of them.

The trick to this kitchen is that the upper cook has to send ingredients in the rooms to the lower cook, and then the cut ingredients have to be sent back up to the upper cook to be prepared. At the very start of the level, the upper cook shouldn't bother with placing stuff on the counters in the left room and instead just drop as much as they can on the floor, preferably 3x of two types of vegetables (one of which being whatever the first order is, of course). Then the lower cook needs to chop them up and send them back. If you're playing with three or four cooks, you could experiment with having those extra cooks be assigned to specific rooms and always helping whichever side of the kitchen their room is on; when their room is sent to the other side, they too should ride in that room.

The scoring is a bit tight, however. With two players, my friend and I barely hit 80 points at the end, and two orders failed, resulting in -20 total because of that. Try to use your time as best you can and you'll get your 3 Stars with enough patience.

Level 5-6

Level 5-6

1P: 30-40-65
2P: 30-50-65
3P: 80-120-140
4P: 80-120-140

The last level of the chapter also takes place in space. On the bright side, there are no more Underworld levels. Similar to Level 5-3, you've got to deal with pressure panels on the floor to let the other cooks in to where they need to go. All of the ingredients are on the bottom, so the lower cook needs to get whichever ingredients that are needed onto the conveyor belt on the right so that the upper cook can grab them and chop them up. They then need to be sent back to the lower cook to be made into soup, and then back up again to be turned in. It's a very arduous process, especially since dirty dishes have to be sent downward as well.

Despite how ridiculous this process is, the scoring is set really, really low, which you can see in the little list above. With two people, you just need to turn in three orders with at least a tip of +2 for each one. You might barely get the score you need, but it's definitely possible. If you keep turning in the orders at the front of the list, none of them should fail, so you shouldn't lose any scoring that way.

Onion Cabin 5

Well, you've done it. You've become masters in your craft. There are just four final trials to overcome before you fight the Ever Peckish for the last time.

This is it, your final stretch. It's time to pass the four remaining trials and make your way up to the Ever Peckish. The road ahead may be short, but don't underestimate it.

Level 6-1

Level 6-1

1P: 100-120-140
2P: 100-140-160
3P: 240-260-280
4P: 220-340-400

This level is located near the end of Chapter 1's levels, on another pirate ship. Instead of having things move only left and right, the strip of countertop with the cutting boards on it move up and down too, as well as two panels on the left side, but those don't really matter all too much. While it is possible to have a cook on one side slip through the cracks of the moving counters on the left, that'd be one of the worst moves you could make in regards to trying to actually score high.

The level is actually pretty simple, as the only rule of thumb to keep in mind is that the cook without cutting boards should be the one prepping stew. Only when a current order is in progress should ingredients be passed back to the cook with the cutting boards. You should hopefully get 3 Stars on your first try. That was the case for my friend and me, so it can't be too outlandish to replicate our skill in the game if you've made it this far already.

Level 6-2

Level 6-2

1P: 120-160-200
2P: 160-200-260
3P: 300-340-380
4P: 120-145-165

This level is easy too; it makes up for how difficult the next two trials are. Nothing here moves, but the cooks need to keep an eye on the conveyor belts whenever someone wants to pass food to someone else. Since both of you have onions, you both can decide when to work on onion soup, but the cooks on opposite sides need to specialize in tomato and onion soup, depending on which side they're on. It's a really easy level to earn 3 Stars on despite the seemingly high score required.

Level 6-3

Level 6-3

1P: 50-70-90
2P: 60-80-100
3P: 60-120-140
4P: 100-140-160

If you didn't like the earlier ice levels, you're really going to hate this one. Probably. The most amount of ice rolling by before was just one, and it was always rectangular. Now you have to deal with two streams of ice moving in opposite directions, and shaped in a few different patterns. As for figuring out what to do, try to bring a mushroom and onion each to the other side of the kitchen and cut them up, then leave them (or take one if the first order calls for it) and put it in the pot in the upper left corner. The cooks should take a pot each and bring them back to the cutting tables; that way, they can put the cut vegetables in the pot without having to cross yet another ice gap, and they'll only have to move to the stoves when they actually have soup ready to be heated. When the soup is ready to go, take it with you in the pot to the right side and put it in an empty plate. This will allow you to put the pot back by the cutting boards when you're done with it.

Level 6-4

Level 6-4

1P: 120-170-190
2P: 140-180-200
3P: 180-220-260
4P: 200-240-300

The last trial is another space kitchen. The menu consists of both soup and burgers, and the ingredients, plates, and conveyors are all in the other rooms on the outside of the main one. Grab some stuff out of the two rooms that start off on your sides, and then press one of the green buttons when you're ready to switch them, just make sure a player doesn't get stuck in one of these rooms. Since pressing a green button switches the rooms, it doesn't matter which one you press unless you specifically want one room on the left or right for whatever reason.

You might find it pretty hard to get 3 Stars here. Since you barely have any countertop space in the center, it's crucial that you and your fellow cooks utilize the counter space as best as you can. Don't forget that you can also drop food and dishes on the ground if necessary, although it may be hard to pick them back up due to the zoomed-out camera. The best thing you can really do here is continue to practice.

Onion Cabin 6

Meet with the Onion King one last time, and he'll declare that you're clearly up to the task of defeating the Ever Peckish. Waste no time getting to it and show it who's boss.

The Peckening

The Peckening 1

1P: Finish the Level (Automatic 3 Stars)
2P: Finish the Level (Automatic 3 Stars)
3P: Finish the Level (Automatic 3 Stars)
4P: Finish the Level (Automatic 3 Stars)

The time has come to face your nemesis for the last time. Kevin will be providing chopper support by supplying you with a varying assortment of wooden supports that contain ingredient boxes and other things on them from time to time. The first of four waves of this battle will look like the picture above. To make things a bit more of a hassle, all of the plates start off dirty by the Ever Peckish, so those will have to be cleaned before you can turn in a single order. You can clean plates from both sides of the sink here. Oh, and to make things even worse, sometimes meteors will rain from the sky and hit the kitchen, setting the tile it lands on ablaze. You'll have to put it out with the fire extinguisher as soon as you can.

All four waves will have to be completed within the time limit of 12:30, so you need to be agile and get through all four waves as fast as you can. Since your 3 Star requirement is simply to beat the level, you don't really have to worry too much about having them time out and losing -10 score, but you obviously don't want to take too long, because you still only have 12:30. Each wave only has a set number of dishes, too; once the top of your screen starts to clear up in terms of orders, then you'll know that the current wave is almost over.

As for the first wave, there's only one cutting board, and all the stoves are on the opposite side of the rooftops. One cook should really pass ingredients to another that'll man the cutting board, and then soup will be made when the ingredients are ready. Be sure to use both stoves when you can.

The Peckening 2

The second wave has another sideways H as a platform provided by Kevin, but most of it is now made of conveyor belts and it moves up and down across the gap between the rooftops. You'll be making burgers now. The buns are the only thing available to anyone on the right side of the H, but another cook to the left can pull ingredients out and put them on the conveyor to lead them over to the right. Additionally, once meat is cut, it should be sent back to the left using conveyor belts so that it can be cooked. A lot of this wave is purely running around doing jobs that your fellow cooks aren't currently doing. This wave will probably take the longest; my friend and I had Kevin's third panel drop at around 05:45 left on the clock.

The Peckening 3

This third panel is more of an S shape, as you can tell with the picture above. You might notice that one can easily be blocked off from the opposite side of the kitchen due to how this panel is shaped. It is therefore in your best interests that at least one cook stays on each side of the kitchen at all times and that required ingredients are simply passed to one another. The cutting boards in the middle of the S are a sweet trap; you can cut ingredients in more places than just the standard one spot, but you're subject to being caught in the rotation of the S and being stuck where you don't want to be at the moment.

You'll be making a mix of pizza and fish and chips. Make note of the two pizza ovens near the top of the kitchen. You should do fine using just one; you'll probably only have enough manpower to use one anyway, since another cook should be working on fish and chips while the other does pizza. The fish and chips guy should be sending ingredients to the pizza guy that the pizza guy can't reach. Due to there being only one fryer on the left side, the fish & chips guy shouldn't be too backed up with stuff to do. Once the fish and chips orders are done for good, though, the original fryer-cook can then help the pizza cook or start finishing pizza orders of their own to speed things up.

The Peckening 4

My timer was at 02:50 when the fourth wave started. All four of the previous food items are up for orders now, even salad now, as the Ever Peckish is as peckish as ever. All of the ingredients are a lot more accessible than the rest of the panel configurations, and it even comes with two new cutting boards. My friend and I just made orders on our own with very active communication between the two of us to get all of these orders done in time. It'll probably take 2-3 tries for you to defeat the Ever Peckish, but it'll be satisfying victory when you do. If this is your last level to earn 3 Stars in, you'll get both of these achievements at once.

Unfortunately, there isn't much of a resolution. The credits roll, and that's all you get out of the story. But the mission was to defeat the Ever Peckish without much backstory anyway, so there really wasn't much else to say anyway.

There are two achievements in the game related to playing with a friend, or yourself if need be; the game is local co-op only, after all. There's also one other achievement that you may or may not have gotten from playing the base game so far.

As you complete more levels of the main story, you'll unlock several different kitchens that you can use to cook against a friend in Versus Mode, found on the main menu. If you really want to get this achievement as soon as possible, you can unlock the first Versus Mode kitchen by beating Level 1-3.

Hide ads

There's another achievement for playing with someone by splitting the buttons on your keyboard or a controller instead of having them use their own. Since you only need one keyboard (which you definitely have) or one controller, you can definitely get this on your own by playing Level 1-1 for the easiest possible way of getting the achievement.

Finally, unrelated to multiplayer, there's an achievement for having your kitchen get set on fire due to negligence and then putting it out with the fire extinguisher. This can easily be done in Level 1-1 at the same time you do the above achievement if you so wish.

This DLC is usually on sale for $5 USD, and comes with no achievements, but has six new levels to play if you decide to go for it. There aren't any star requirements for levels, as that would be pretty tedious with only six levels to unlock, but you can find the same kind of info on these levels as you would any other level from the base game. Feel free to use this different playlist to reach 3 Star videos for these levels if you would prefer to see how you could get the proper score instead of reading about it.

Intro Onion House

The Onion King's time portal screwed up and brought you all way further back in time than he was thinking you'd be sent to. As a warning, he hopes that you've already beaten the main game so that the challenges ahead aren't overly difficult for you. You can use Kevin's helicopter to get around.

That's all there is for this DLC in terms of story. You're just here. But it's safe to assume nobody bought this DLC for the story; most people buy it for the dinosaur chef you can unlock anyway, so let's get started on the levels.

Level 1-1

Lost Morsel 1-1

1P: 40-70-90
2P: 60-80-110
3P: 70-140-170
4P: 80-150-200

The first level in the jungle is another burrito match. There's rice on the lower half of the kitchen, with the rest above, but the cutting board is also on the lower half. The lower cook can cook rice by themselves, but they'll also have to cut meat given to them by the upper cook. There are also two singular countertop squares to the left or right of where the cooks start out, connecting the central conveyor belt to the countertop lines in each cook's area. These move left and right from time to time and will push you out if you're near the conveyor belt; this is particularly a problem when you're trying to take an item off of the belt. Both cooks can turn in orders, but the only sink is on the lower half, so the dishes will have to go on the belt too.

Level 1-2

Lost Morsel 1-2

1P: 60-80-160
2P: 60-120-180
3P: 80-180-220
4P: 100-200-300

The trick for the second level is that pushing the switch moves the center countertop strip to the left and right, which puts a stove out of reach for a time being. This would be hard, but you can do something a lot simpler instead of worrying about that. Have the left cook take the pan in front of them and give it to the cook on the right, then have the cook on the right go to their upper half of the kitchen. Then press the switch, blocking them off in there and allowing the left cook to have full access to ingredients and a cutting board.

Immediately send prepared meat over to the cook on the right so it can start grilling. The key to this is that having two pans lets you swap out cooked meat for raw meat very quickly without having to wait on a bun or plate, so you can let a cooked patty sit while another one is on the stove. The cook on the left, once the meat is cooking and stocked up, can then cut up whatever vegetables are needed, as well as a few more for more incoming orders that haven't appeared yet. Buns require no work, so the main focus is making sure the cook on the right has enough cut meat to keep themselves busy the whole time as the left cook is almost always prepping ingredients. The right cook also has to wash dirty dishes, which can easily be done thanks to the amount of downtime they'll have.

Level 1-3

Lost Morsel 1-3

1P: 40-100-160
2P: 60-130-200
3P: 70-160-300
4P: 100-180-340

This level is really easy. All of your ingredients will come from the conveyor belts to the side of the kitchen and, with lots of pots, you shouldn't have trouble making any soup orders. Don't forget that you can take ingredients and turn them into prepped soup orders before they're actually needed so you can turn it in as soon as the order comes in. Since you can do this, you may as well grab as many ingredients off the conveyor belts as you can to push soup output to the max.

Level 1-4

Lost Morsel 1-4

1P: 50-70-100
2P: 60-100-160
3P: 70-140-200
4P: 80-150-260

Your fourth jungle expedition will be a bit more dangerous. It uses a traditional split in resources, with ingredients and cutting boards on the left and the stoves on the right. The cook on the left should cut everything and put it on the counters to the far edge where the plates originally are on the kitchen's default design. To make some space, the right cook should move the plates to the counter spaces around the stove. They'll be watching over the stoves and turning in orders at all times, if not to clean plates every once in a while.

Communicate to figure out which ingredients are needed, and then get them prepared. The cook on the left, if following the advice above, will have to contend with fireballs that fire from east to west. Let the plate cleaning fall to the cook on the right; they'll have a lot of spare time as their meat cooks or they wait for more ingredients to be cut. The two problems that arise from cleaning dishes is that you're in the direct path of fireballs, and you're preventing your partner(s) from using the same alley to get across. Both issues are resolved by ducking into the small opening opposite the sink.

Level 1-5

Lost Morsel 1-5

1P: 40-70-90
2P: 60-100-120
3P: 80-120-160
4P: 80-140-190

Level 1-5 has pressure switches on it, just like a few of the levels in Chapter 5 of the base game. All three ingredients and the kitchen sink are blocked behind giant totems that will sink in the ground if the opposite switch is active. The best strategy for collecting ingredients would be to place them all over the nearby countertops, except save one space open so you can move ingredients back and forth to be cut. You can also drop three or four of an ingredient on the ground too, so you can have a total of nine at your disposal. Do this for all three ingredients and you'll basically be set for the level, or at least a very good chunk of it.

The cook on the right will have to clean all the dishes themselves, so they'll have to be passed to them and passed back when they're clean so more orders can be turned in. Additionally, the two sides of the kitchen won't be able to pass things to each other aside from the two spots in the center. This calls for some proper communication so the counter space can be utilized most efficiently. You might want to try putting an empty pot on the middle area until it's full of three ingredients, then start heating it up. That way the three ingredients won't have to be individually carried by both people, and those three movements are replaced by a single replacement of the pot back to the stove.

Level 1-6

Lost Morsel 1-6

1P: 40-60-100
2P: 60-120-150
3P: 80-140-230
4P: 100-180-250

Time for the last level. Take a look at the picture above and notice where the cutting table and pizza oven are. The gimmick for this level is that they'll move underground every once in a while and reappear a few seconds later in different spots. Now look for the four one-tile holes in the countertops; ignore the large one at the bottom right corner and remember those four other holes. The cutting table and pizza oven will reappear in those spaces in that order, in a clockwise fashion.

Earning 3 Stars here is unusually difficult, so there are a few strategies that you can use to make the best of your time. Get some pizza dough prepped first, and lay them out over the counter above the tomato box. Since every pizza needs cheese and tomato, have the "secondary cook" (Cook 2) cut up the tomatoes and cheese and place them on the dough. If a pizza needs sausage or mushrooms, then Cook 1, the primary cook, should cut those up and get those on the pizzas that need them. Cook 1 should be the one turning pizzas in, and Cook 2 should wash the dirty dishes and put them back on the counter in their default position. Only if there's free time should Cook 1 work on tomatoes and cheese with Cook 2.

The Festive Seasoning DLC, unlike the previous one, is free to download and comes with eight Christmas-y levels. Again, there aren't any Star requirements to unlock levels, so you don't have to have a certain amount to continue the DLC. You can find 3 Star ranking tips and other information below, as well as videos in the playlist link below. One thing to know before you attempt to get all of the best rankings is that each level here is five minutes instead of four as per usual. What this means is that you'll have more time to get to the score you need, but the score will be higher to compensate for having more time.

The Onion King has brought you to this snowy land as part of a cultural outreach program to research the festive stuff going on. According to Kevin, it might be the best food festival ever, so go out there and learn more about it!

Level 1-1

Festive Seasoning 1-1

1P: 40-70-100
2P: 60-140-200
3P: 70-180-240
4P: 80-220-320

This kitchen nearby the base camp is a good starting level for learning the "new" recipes for winter stew. Winter stew consists of a lot of different combinations of ingredients, with the three in the kitchen being the focus here, of course. You'll catch on that the different stew orders are definitely more complicated than normal soup orders have been. The counters in vertical lines also move left to right every once in a while too, which will push the cooks out of what they were doing before. The basic concepts of this kitchen are covered throughout the main story, so you should already know that one cook should pass ingredients and man the stoves while the other cuts and turns things in. When someone has the time, they can do the dishes when they're dirty; for the best placement, put the clean dishes in their default position in the picture above.

Level 1-2

Festive Seasoning 1-2

1P: 60-90-120
2P: 80-120-180
3P: 100-160-220
4P: 140-200-240

If you take a look at the kitchen, you'll see that only one person can get to the stoves and another the cutting boards. This won't be the case for long; the two bits of countertop in front of these for each person will move up or down to block the original piece, so if you first have the cutting boards as a left cook, you'll soon have to deal with the stoves, and vice versa. This happens about every 30 seconds like stage changes usually do. You'll also notice that whoever has access to the cutting boards won't have access to carrots or onions due to the other shifting countertops. To get around this, put two carrots and two onions on the shifting countertops on the right side when you can get to them; that way, when you have the cutting boards, you can get to those ingredients yourself instead of relying solely on your fellow cook. Both sides will also have a plate of their own, and both sides also have sinks. Wash these when you have time or when you need them.

Level 1-3

Festive Seasoning 1-3

1P: 60-90-120
2P: 80-140-220
3P: 120-160-240
4P: 160-200-260

And now for something completely different. All of the food you'll ever have is already placed around the kitchen, and this leads to a few things. First of all, you won't have any specific locations to get food, so if a potato you need isn't nearby, you'll have to run over to one. Secondly, you won't have nearly as much counter space until you start using up ingredients. Food on conveyors also won't move until you remove something ahead of it. Due to how much food there is, you won't ever actually run out during your five minutes in this kitchen, so don't stress too much about that. What you should be thinking of is food placement and how far away certain ingredients are.

The strategy my friend and I used was that we had one cook immediately go to the south-eastern corner of the kitchen and cut up all the food on the conveyor, and then this cook went on cutting duty for the rest of the game. They also took dirty plates placed around where the default position is for the cooks in the picture above, cleaned them, and returned them back to around that area for easy access for the other cook. That other cook manned the cutting board and pot up on the northern wall and turned in orders, as well as brought the dirty dishes to that area mentioned earlier.

Level 1-4

Festive Seasoning 1-4

1P: 40-60-80
2P: 80-140-200
3P: 100-160-250
4P: 120-240-280

The gimmick to this level is that the + shaped countertops in the middle will rotate every half minute. With two of the sides being longer than the other, the kitchen will alternate between being separated horizontally and vertically. This means that whenever this happens, you'll be assigned a different cutting board or stove every time it switches. To avoid having both cooks end up on the same side, stay in opposite corners every 30 seconds. Keep track of how much time is left frequently to prep for the switch. It's a lot harder than it seems to work with moving around at the right time, and if you both get stuck on the same side, you may as well restart if you're aiming for 3 Stars.

With two cooks, it's very obvious what you'll be able to do at any given time. Communicate with your partner to pass things off to each other in a timely fashion and you should be fine. If you have four cooks, then each cook can keep a corner to themselves, which will really make things a lot easier.

Level 1-5

Festive Seasoning 1-5

1P: 100-160-200
2P: 100-220-260
3P: 140-250-320
4P: 180-270-360

Time for a well-deserved break from making winter stew. Now you'll be cooking turkey and vegetables with a flamethrower. The cook to the right should quickly put one of the two flamethrowers on their side onto the conveyor for the cook on the left to use. Since the cook on the right can't cut any vegetables, all they can do is pass them on and cook turkeys. A ready-to-cook ingredient will have a progress bar on the bottom that fills up when you use the flamethrower on it. The dirty dishes show up by the cook on the right, so they'll have to clean the dishes and put them on the belt so the left cook can get them.

The left cook seems to have most of the responsibilities. They have to pick up ingredients from the right cook as well as cut the vegetables, and then cook the vegetables too. They also have to plate the food correctly and then turn everything in. Despite the weird level design, it won't take too long to earn 3 Stars here. If you ever get any orders for just a turkey, get those out of the way first, since you might need the extra points later.

Level 1-6

Festive Seasoning 1-6

1P: 180-200-240
2P: 200-260-300
3P: 240-310-360
4P: 300-350-380

Now you'll be using flamethrowers in a much larger environment, where all the cooks can stand together. Don't worry, flamethrowers can't damage cooks, so don't worry about any respawn times or anything like that. You'll notice that there are a bunch of conveyors in the center of the stage; start placing around equal amounts of each of the ingredients on the conveyors and you'll be a lot less stressed for passing ingredients for quite some time. Try to split the work in half by having an upper and lower cook. Since the lower cook has 2/3 of the ingredients on their end, they can complete the solo-turkey and carrot-turkey orders all by themselves, and since they have more of the ingredients, they should prepare the carrots and turkey for any meal that requires all three and pass them over to the upper cook unless the upper cook decides to put more potatoes on the conveyor for easy access. This level is about as difficult or easier than the last in terms of earning a high enough score for those three yellow stars; if you found Level 1-5 to be alright, you probably won't have any issues here for long.

Level 1-7

Festive Seasoning 1-7

1P: 140-170-200
2P: 240-290-340
3P: 280-340-400
4P: 320-380-480

This level is a bit nicer than some of the others in this DLC thus far because the turkeys periodically pop out of the central conveyor belt, so you won't have to worry about that ingredient at all. The gimmick is that you should use the flamethrower on the turkeys when you can't get to them and then pick them up at the end ready to go. As you can see here, both sides have their own kitchen, one plate, and place to turn in food. Never at any point should one side of the kitchen have both plates, as that's completely unnecessary.

Both cooks should be ready to drop their signature vegetable on the conveyor for the other to pick up whenever they ask for it; this will solve the problem of the carrot-potato dishes as well as the dishes with all three ingredients. You could also assign these orders to a specific side of the kitchen, with the other filling the turkey-only orders. That way, only one vegetable has to go on the conveyor instead of two and the instant orders are fulfilled with the largest tip possible. The 3 Star score is pretty high, but as long as you really get those turkey-only orders going, you should get there.

Level 1-8

Festive Seasoning 1-8

1P: 70-100-120
2P: 80-100-120
3P: 90-120-180
4P: 100-180-280

Now for the last level. There are four areas of the kitchen split off by a pool of water, and a wooden plank moves up and down the pool to serve as a means of getting across. To make matters worse, you'll be making more winter stew, so you'll be working with four ingredients and stoves instead of three and a flamethrower. The ingredients are split in pairs, and there are three pots, so my friend and I came up with the idea that a stew that requires ingredients from both sides should be made in the center pot so that both cooks can put their ingredients inside. Any other soup like the three-meat stew order or the carrots-potatoes order can be done in the pots at the top or bottom of the kitchen so the center pot isn't taken up by something that only one cook has to do.

There's not a whole lot of strategy that can help when it comes to this level, unfortunately. Whenever there's downtime for one of the cooks, they can help the other one out by cutting ingredients, turning orders in, or cleaning plates. Plates, whether they're clean or dirty should always be placed on the counters next to the garbage disposal on the left for easy access.

Happy Holidays

With the various kitchens mastered, the Onion King realizes that the festivities aren't about the food, but really about spending time with each other. Thanks to the teamwork between your fellow cooks, you were able to make the season great.
