I found this a lot easier to do by going back. When I got to the second island, Mysterious Forest and hit level 35, I went all the way back straight to level one. I sat for about twenty minutes redoing it and redoing it, eventually getting my speed up. It takes some goes, or it did for me, but by going back to much easier levels, this achievement is a lot easier to get.
