Being an a game with 8 people, everyone will have to use the Line tool.

Press your F5 key to use the tool. Click & drag to make the line. The tool can be found on the left-hand side of screen where the icons "Grab", "Vector Paint", "Pixel Paint", etc. are if you'd rather click it instead.
