If you manage to solve the puzzles with minimal transfer of items between the characters, it's easy to miss this achievement.
While you play the game, make it a habit to flush the items to the person that does NOT need the item to solve a puzzle, and then use that person to flush the item to the correct person.
After 50 transfers the achievement pops.
