You should be in your second year by now. This should come in no time if you maintain high profitability utilizing the best cash crops, gems, and fish.
However, if you also have your Greenhouse built and at least one Ancient Seed, I suggest starting to fill it with cranberries until you can start to replace them with Ancient Fruit.
- Ancient Fruits take 28 days to grow, then remain planted (like cranberries) and reproduce a yield every 7 days.
- Using a keg, you can turn a single fruit into wine over another 7 days. This will take the value of the crop/fruit and multiply it by 3.
(The price for wine is unrelated to the quality of the crop.)
- Additionally, with the "Artisan" perk that is obtainable at Farming skill Lv. 10, the value of all artisan goods (cheese, mayonnaise, beer) is increased by 50%.
(You can get more Ancient Seeds using the "Seed Maker" which is craftable at Farming skill Lv. 9.)
