This achievement requires you to solve 500 hidden object puzzles in Silhouette mode. That is the mode where it give you the outlines the objects you need to find. You cannot control whether a particular attempt will be in this mode or not. It cycles through modes as you play each map, so you just have to keep playing over and over again in order to get this mode. Hopefully you'll get enough naturally while trying to get other achievements.
