Beat the opening stage of Mega Man X1, then once at the level select screen, quit out to the Legacy Collection main menu and change the version of the game to the Japanese version (so that the title screen of the game says Rockman X) and beat the intro stage again. Achievement should pop once Vile (or Vava as the achievement selects) is defeated and X and Zero start talking
