For this one I just created a square room, used the east-asian style roof (with japenese roof tiles) and the new DLC wooden finishes for the walls and floors. Then I randomly placed some shoji doors and windows, and one round window also from the DLC. After that I just covered the floor in tatami mats and the achievement popped up.
