Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition (PC) - Achievement - Hopeless Romantic
Win "Hand of the Princess" with 12+ minutes remaining on the timer.
This achievement triggers upon completion of the level provided you have completed the secondary objective of having 12+ minutes remaining on the timer. This is obviously a timed achievement, however it isn't difficult. The route you choose to take will impact the time you have to complete.
Your objective is to reach Princess Sanyogita in the far East, then bring her and your hero, Prithviraj, to the Wonder in the far North of the map.
From the start, gather your troops and follow the path, killing the minor resistance on the way. You will come across Chand Bardai (hero Monk) and a regular Monk, but they will be blocked behind some trees. Continue along the path and you will be given control of a Siege Onager and some infantry on raised ground. The Siege Onager can destroy trees. Deal with the small resistance in between your split forces and bring them back to where you encountered the Monks. Use the Siege Onager to destroy the trees near them and follow that path South-East until you reach the South corner of the map. Cross the bridge North-East and you will come to a small body of water and a Transport Ship. Get everyone on and drop them off at the the beach just slightly to the North. Follow the path, killing the wild animals along the way that attack to the city the princess is in. There are troops in the city, but nothing that should cause much trouble. Grab the princess and you will be given control of another Transport Ship. Get everyone on, but don't land on the nearest beach. Follow the river to get dropped off on the cost of Lal Kot (Green). A small walk inland and you will have reached the city gates. Bring your hero and the princess to the Wonder in the corner of the city and provided you still have 12+ minutes left, the achievement should trigger.
