Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition (PC) - Achievement - Sneak Attack
Kill Farrukh Yasar before he reaches his fortress in "The Red Hats".
This achievement triggers upon Farrukh Yasars death, provided he has not yet reached his fortress.
The initial phase of the mission involves moving your troops to a base of the Turkomans (Red) in the west. You encounter a few small groups of enemies on the way. It's important to try and minimise casualties. Once you reach the base, it comes under your control. Immediately move your forces towards the North-East of the map and begin researching Bloodlines at your Stable.
Farrukh Yasar will begin moving to his Fortress shortly after you take over the base, so speed is essential. You may also encounter some further small groups of enemies on the way. It will be announced when he begins to move. His fortress is a short distance West from his starting location - You need to intercept and kill him en route, before he makes it to his fortress.
PLEASE NOTE: There are forces that come under your control when you encounter them that CAN be obtained during the initial phase, before you reach the Turkoman base to make this easier. To see where they are, resign immediately, return to the map and look for the white dots on the minimap- There are three groups scattered around the South.
