To get this achievement faster, just loot hidden chests, then go and sell loot to tonilia at Thieves Guild, she has 4k gold, when she runs out of gold, make a quick save, start a fight and reload so her inventory gets refilled with more gold, repeat until you score your achievement, it gets faster if you have potions or gear that boosts your selling stat, you may get some potions in these hidden chests
