To get this achievement, you have to escape the island alive, and no one in the expedition can place any tools that permanently attach to the island. This includes rope cannons, ropes, antirope cannons, antiropes, chain launchers, pitons, portable stoves, and scout cannons. Dropping these items does not count as permanently placing them. However, you can use shelf fungus and magic beans to create natural topography.
