A short adventure game in which you deliver a few packages and interact with the other cats in town. It has some missable achievements but the game is short. Completion takes around an hour.
Approximate time to 100%: Around 60 minutes or so. At this moment (launch day), it is closer to 2 hours, but one of the achievements will change in the next update from 50 minutes to 15, and you don't have to wait at that location anymore.
Estimated achievement difficulty: 1/10
Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 1
Is there a good guide available: I wrote this guide, but you don't really need it:
https://www.missitheachievementhuntress.com/cattos-post-offi...Multiplayer achievements: No
Missable achievements: Yes, a few are missable. For example, if you directly say 4x meow instead of meeeeeeooooooowww when visiting grandma. Or if you decline to wear the golden hat around the ending. However, the game is really short so it is easy to jump back in and unlock the missing achievements.
Grinding Achievements: No
DLC-Only achievements: No
Speedrun achievements: No
Time-gated achievements: There is an achievement that triggers 15 minutes later when you return to that location. (At this moment, the achievement is 50 minutes, but this will change in the next update)
RNG-achievements: No
Does difficulty affect achievements: No difficulty setting
Unobtainable/glitched achievements: No
Gamepad or mouse and keyboard: I played with an Xbox controller.
In Catto's Post Office, you're delivering packages, but it is your birthday, and everybody seems to have forgotten about it. But they act very strangely? Last year, they didn't forget it; how could everybody forget it this year? No time to waste.. it is time for work, delivering the packages and helping out the other villagers with simple tasks as finding their scissors and cleaning up cans that are littered over the ground.
The story of Catto's Post Office is straightforward. Just delivering a few packages, one at a time. However, this small town is beautiful, and there are 14 hidden rubber duckies to be found. As an adult, the plot is obvious and there are no surprise at all, but I think this would be an enjoyable game for younger kids, as it is just so cute.
It has a few missable achievements, but I wouldn't worry about those, as the game is very short and I think you can replay it in just like 15/20 minutes once you know exactly what you're doing. A missable achievement is saying meeeeoooowww when visiting grandma, and another is that you want to wear the golden hat at the end of the game when you get that option.
I give Catto's Post Office 3.5 out of 5 stars.
