Quest: The Mad Mage's Maze
Location: Phantom Forest
Pre-Requirements: The Talking Statues (Quest)
The Talking Statues is a side quest located in Cyseal in the far North West (to get to this location you must have killed the SparkMaster and proceeded through the cave).
- Quick Summary: You should find 4 statues in a circle, talk to each and attack each with a spell/scroll/weapon that does elemental damage of the same type as the statue/demon. Defeat each demon that spawns from the 4 statues and enter the cave and find Bellagar.
Once you have reached the swamp area of Phantom Forest (after passing through the poison log), search for a massive pile of gold. Click on it and Bellegar should appear and initiate dialog. He will add a new fast travel location to your list (Phantom Forest - Bellegars Maze). Travel there and you will be met with a interesting puzzle.
The goal is to get the creature to one of the three statues for the achievement, pull a lever to change the animal type and the animal will go in the direction of its preferred food. Once it has reached the first statue you should get the achievement. Finish the rest of the statues for additional loot.
