This achievement requires grinding, but there is a way to make it slightly easier. When fishing, press "H" to open the help screen as soon as your line hits the water. The "!" that indicates you've caught something will still appear, but it won't disappear until you close the help screen. This won't guarantee a successful catch, sometimes fish might get away as soon as you close the help screen, but it does increase your chance of success by a wide margin.
