In a couple of levels, paint is unavoidable. It will be either blue or green, and it will be coming out of a tipped over paint bucket. When you walk after you step in it, you will leave footprints for a short duration. These footprints will pique the interest of guards and cause them to be distracted, and they will follow your footprints.
