This is done in the Alchemy section of the blacksmith. Eventually with repeated crafting this will eventually pop on its own, but it can be "forced". As you craft throughout the game eventually the smith will create the wrong item. This CAN help you but not always in that it can accidentally make stronger items. Either way once this happens once it pops the achievement as well as registers the mistake item to the shop.
