For this achievement, you'll need to purchase a TV from the electronics store in the plaza and set it up in your house. Chairs can help too, since it makes sure your cursor doesn't drift too far away from the screen when you're clicking past idle checks.

Much like the rest of TU's timegate achievements, this one will only log time if you're not idle. Since idle checks occur every minute (or less), this means you'll need to be nearby to click your mouse.

Sit down in your condo, stare at a TV, and use the media player tab to add in a youtube link that's long and boring so that you can turn down the TV and do something else on a separate monitor/computer. I recommend Twilight Imperium VODs (Space Cats Peace Turtles does great ones) since they can last upwards of 8-10 hours.

Every once and awhile, be sure to press B to access the achievement tracker and verify that your time is being counted. The last thing you want is for you to elapse a few hours and realize after the fact that you weren't looking at a TV and it didn't count.
