Complete the quest Cherchez la Femme. You actually have to fail the quest Hare Hunt by not taking Hanekin Hare to jail. You'll then help him chase Huntsman Nicolas out of time by having him come clean about the conspiracy. Sir Divish will then offer you the office of head huntsman, and there's really no reason to turn it down.
