here is the simple solution. As long as the format stays the same and it only shifts the details, just plug and go from your version. This is the order of which they go in the door, and its only the needed info:
"__person__ was at the far left"
"someone else carried a valuable __item__ and when she saw it..."
"__person__ raised her __drink__ in toast"
"when one of the guests bragged about her __item__..."
"They all wore difference colors and __person__ wore a jaunty __color__"
"at which the lady from __place__ scoffed, saying it was no match for her __item__"
"Then __person__ captivated them all with a story..."
*last remaining item*
"so __person__ showed off a prized __item__"
