This is a miserable requirement but I think it took less time than I anticipated to unlock. I think less than 15 minutes.
The fastest technique seems to be to hop in the air, switch to Geddy, then alternate between pressing
then
over an over.
does a spin move and
teleports Geddy back to you. I wasn't sure if the game was counting these spins towards my progress but thankfully it popped.
You can also use the keyboard instead of the gamepad by pressing 'R' to teleport and left mouse click to spin. This may be more comfortable for you.
