Decreasing Chaos/Maintaining Low Chaos Tips

Chaos is decreased by the following activities:

- Dealing with assassination targets in a non-lethal manner.
- Avoiding the use of lethal force against humans in general by either eliminating them non-lethally or avoiding them altogether.
- Avoiding detection.
- Performing certain side objectives or special actions (specifics located below):

1. In the "High Overseer Campbell" mission you can contribute to a decreased state of Chaos by:

- Saving Geoff Curnow from Thaddeus Campbell's assassination attempt.

and/or

- Saving Overseer Berthold and his sister from zealous Overseers.

2. In the "The Royal Physician" mission you can contribute to a decreased state of Chaos by:

- Rescuing a woman from a swarm of rats in an abandoned factory on the north side of Kaldwin's Bridge.

and/or

- Releasing Anton Sokolov's test subject from confinement.

3. During the mission "The Flooded District", you can do the following:

- Saving the plague survivors in Creating a Safe Haven.

4. During the mission "The Loyalists", you can do the following:

- Using the Arc Pylon to incapacitate hostiles.

5. During the mission "A Stay of Execution for Lizzy", you can do the following:

- Maintaining Overseer disguise, leaving no evidence behind.

and/or

- Stopping the Execution of the Guard who helped Corvo.

6. During the mission "The Dead Eels", you can do the following:

- Restoring Water to the Canal.

Lastly, just to clarify. You need to have low chaos during the end of the game when the credits roll, you don't have to be in Low Chaos the entirety of the game.
