As you are fleeing from an enemy in your ship at the end of the tutorial level you will have the option to fire on the asteroids or keep trying to evade them. Choose the destroy option for this. You should save right before boarding the ship or during the fight if you don't kill all the Sith troopers so you can reload and pick the option to evade the enemy.
