Souls refer to the blue rhombuses that each character has and are needed for combos. Collect 20 or more of them in one battle to earn this achievement. You gain souls mostly by stunning enemies which is easy to do in this game since the whole battle system is focused on it. You will earn this achievement very likely without even trying as one of your first achievement.
