Either Marc Perez (in chapter one) or Alla Zima (in chapter five) needs to remove Gabriel's restraint. Teng Lei needs to stand her ground.
In the final chapter, Alla Zima must tell Gabriel to leave without accepting the cure. (It doesn't matter what the general told her to do in the previous scene.)
