Top Five Best Things About Last Epoch In AlphaPermalink
Last Epoch, an ARPG currently in the Alpha Stage on PC, is becoming one of the best Hack n Slash ARPG's to date. They have a ton of classes to choose from, places to explore, spells to learn and much more. In this post by college paper writing service, you will see the best things so far about Last Epoch in the Alpha stage that I have come across in the last few days. After watching the trailer above and reading through this slideshow, please head on over to the Last Epoch website and support the growth of the game!

Finally, an ARPG Hack n Slash game with true skill customization! There are a ton of spells you can learn in this game, however, you can only select a few of them to actually upgrade over time. Every skill in this game has its own individual skill tree which allows for almost unlimited customization upon creating new characters to play with. For example, the spell above shows a tree where I am making my fire shield do more damage to surrounding enemies. But there are a ton of other options like increasing the shield elemental defense, increasing the radius of which I can burn enemies, or even increasing the amount of times where I can set someone on fire. Easily the top favorite of Last Epoch so far.

Unlike many other ARPG's like Diablo II or Path of Exile, Last Epoch allows for unlimited class customization options. When you first start out this game, you pick from one of only a few different class options, which is normal for any game like this. But as you start to level up character, you can pick and choose subclasses to expand your characters strength. As you can see about, my character started out as a Mage and after some time I have started exploring out in the realm of being a Sorcerer. Probably the best thing about this system is that each subclass has its own passive skill tree as well as new spells to be learned.

Yes! If you can honestly say that you don't like loot, you're absolutely crazy! Last Epoch has a ton of loot to find and each item really does have different stats to it. You will find anything from weapons, armor, accessories and a ton of crafting material, which I will get into with the next slide. Just today after many hours of playing and streaming the game, I finally found my first legendary armor piece. There was an amazing beam of light shining down it! The only downfall of the loot are probably the colors attached to them. As you can see above, all the crafting materials look like rare items. The Legendary item that dropped actually had a white color to it. Other than that, there is a ton of loot to be found.

Any ARPG without some sort of crafting system in it, is not an ARPG. Majority of ARPG's you come across like Diablo III or once again, Path of Exile, require you to go to your main house, base, or a hideaway in order to craft things. Well, in Last Epoch, you don't have to worry about that anymore. In this game, pretty much everything, with the exception of legendary equipment, can be customized. No, you don't get to change the appearance of the item or the color, however with all the crafting materials you find on the ground, you can crazily increase the stats of any piece of equipment. Just make sure that you are customizing your equipment based off how your character is progressing!

And last but not least, there are huge areas to explore! How many times have you come across other Hack n Slash games where you can explore an area within just a few minutes? For myself personally, every ARPG should have large areas to explore to make you feel like you're actually searching for something. I believe it honestly took me roughly ten to fifteen minutes just to explore one whole entire area. And you know what that means? Yep, you guessed it. There is a ton of loot to find and enemies to kill.
