Malfunctioning Scanners

I have just checked and one of our scanner accounts was having some issues with the token it was using. We have redundancy built into the system which is why it was working sometimes and not others.

I have updated this token and it should solve the issue you've been seeing.

I will keep an eye on this thread, but please let me know if this is still happening.

Just created an account yesterday, I thought I was doing something wrong as nothing was showing up after it said it scanned my profile so kept attempting to rescan. I have since reached the scan limit unless I update to pro but my profile is still showing I have zero games or achievements which led me to the forums.

I don't know the difference but if I click games collection i can see a list of all the games I own, albeit no play time or achievements populate but if I go to my games it says there are no matching games in this criteria.

I've gone through my steam account and made sure everything was public multiple times and have checked my TA account on mobile and the web.

Outside of just waiting and hoping things just start randomly working is there anything I can do to get things to populate?

My scanner keeps claimimg my Steam privacy settings were set to private, but I literally have them open on the second monitor and they're set to public.

Mine too. I have everything on Public, but it still says my profile is "private".

This problem still is happening pretty frequently where it keeps saying I do a session of, say LOGistiCAL, then it malfunctions randomly to state that my profile is private, even though I never change settings.

Thanks for the reports of the privacy setting issues. Just to let you know I pushed out a scanner update on Friday to ensure that if an api token does fallover, we will ensure that account is not marked as "private". This should help in these scenarios.

I have a bit more checking to do on this today and we are building more redundancy into these systems. Thanks for your patience.

scanner somehow fails to pick achievement on July 21, oven though other sites are able to pick it up. It picks achievements from 20th and 22th just fine.

edit: today it picked the achievement just fine.

Hello, my account here is new as is my account on steam but I do have several achievements unlocked and despite having rescanned multiple times in the last 16 hours or so nothing is appearing in my profile.

I have checked and all of my steam sharing settings are set to Public so I don't think there is anything else I can do on my end.

Scanner isn't working for me again today. It continuously tells me there are 2 gamers in front of me, but I never end up being scanned.

Still haven't gotten my account updated even once so far. Also had a weird thing today as it's now saying "You are currently untrackable. Please change your Privacy Settings."

Problem is all my settings on steam are public so I honestly have no idea why this is coming up.

Keep getting "32/33 gamers ahead of you" when going to scan.

The number has flipped back and forth over a couple of scans (that never go through) but stays at either one of those two.

The scanner isn't updating my acc... I keep getting the same message "There are 4 players in front of you" but nothing happens.

Same for me, 13 gamers ahead of me

I have same issue for past 1.5 days, I have 20 gamers ahead of me, my friend was able to re-scan
