Malfunctioning Scanners

Hello, I have requested 2 scans today but nothing is getting picked up, yesterday 6 achievements were found in AC Shadows but I now have 14 and the 8 newer ones are not found.

My account is showing as Private. I checked on steampowered.com and I'm set to Public. I tried setting to Private, scanning, set to Public, and scan again. I'm a Pro member. Looking at posts above, it is hopefully just a temporary issue.

Edit: Indeed, the problem apparently sorted itself out.

This has been happening to me also as of late, where it keeps saying my status is Private, even though everything is Public.

When I re-scan, it still prompts the error, but I only started noticing this as of yesterday (the first day I saw this error on the site). Does Pro members affect this? I don't believe so, because I am definitely earning legit achievements daily and when I log in once to update my current "production" it just appears and I'm confused.

I'm having the same issue as the posters before me, I'm flagged as untraceable even though my profile is public.
This issue already happened a few days ago but it sorted out itself fairly quickly, but this time around it is taking longer.
Hope to see any improvements on this situation.

Not sure if this the right thread, but...

So I had the public/private issue, which I now have fixed, but it's telling me I got an achievement this morning that I actually got yesterday, which has then ended my streak at 246 days, which should be 248 and counting.

Really hope this can be fixed, shame to be cheated out of an attempt to break my old best streak by technical gremlins...

The achievement was Money, Money, Money in Tabletop Simulator.

TSA lists it as unlocking at 0841 on Yesterday (the 20th of May)
Steam lists it as unlocked on May 19th, 2025, 4:02pm

I am sure it was on that day, as at first I was confused that I hadn't gotten one according to the site, but then I recalled as I had the day off work for one, and the achievement was freezing up the computer in the process, as I had to spawn in 10000 poker chips, so I had to copy & paste a whole bunch to get it there.

What I would recommend is check to make sure your time zones are set correctly in the site settings: My Settings

And try rebuilding your streak by clicking the button on your streaks page: DkW's Win Streaks

Just got affected as well, as of yesterday. TSA says my Steam profile is private, but it is set as public. Asked for a couple of manual scans yesterday and today, but just tried a manual scan again and this time it worked.

Never saw issues like this with Trueachievements or Truetrophies, which makes me think it's possibly a Steam issue(?), but i don't know.

Having the private profile issue every day now. Occasionally I can fix it with manual scans, but the next day it is back to saying private again. Incredibly frustrating.

Edit: Not to mention failing a manual scan because of this bug still counts as a daily scan, so I'm constantly out of scans while trying to update my profile.

Some examples would help, what are the achievements that are wrong? I can then check on Steam what the unlock time was, and how it looks on site.

And agree with your last part; as TT and TA are set up the same way, this is most likely a Steam issue

I also tried asking for help on the steam forums, As on the games page it has conflicting data, it is both listed as the 19th on the righthand side, and the erroneous 20th in the activity feed on the left.

Thusfar, no help there either.

I guess I just have to accept it at this point, but its annoying. Then it also snapped back to private again, but I've fixed that again.

The pro scanner is always going down and has been doing that for months now
