Follow this method by "Emptiness" on the Steam forums for all three versions of this achievement. It doesn't matter which color you are, as you can play a local game vs. yourself and get these achievements.
Local multiplayer > Enter to join as a second player. > Click ready for the second player. > Launch game.
For reference: The top left corner is A1, the top right corner is H1, the bottom left is A8, and the bottom right is H8. I personally found it helpful to look up an Othello board image with these numbers and letters present to reference alongside the instructions and I got it on my first try.
