  Actions

  This is a grind UNLESS you want to take the easy way:
  
  

  *** Spoiler - click to reveal ***1. New Small World with a decent geared character/
  2. Build 2 Small NPC rooms at spawn, with a chest.
  3. Run to Ocean, find Angler, talk to him.
  4. Fish for his fish of the day, then deposit it in the chest you made earlier.
  5. Save world and quit.
  6. Go to you Terraria Worlds save files (My Documents, My Games, Terraria, Worlds) and copy that world to your desktop.
  7. Launch Terraria, hand in the quest.
  8. Delete that world in the Worlds folder, copy the one on the desktop, paste it in the worlds folder.
  9. Rinse and repeat.
  
  This works because the quest data is stored on the character, not the world.
  You don't need to keep closing Terraria either, just change the worlds from the main menu.
  Takes about 30+ minutes of copying and pasting, but it's better than grinding it out.
  I finished Terraria 4 times, and only had completed 50 fishing quests; then I used this method.

  With the update 1.4.0 this achievement was made a lot easier. All you have to do, instead of swapping worlds each time, is to make a journey mode character and just skip the days with the in-game tool to finish the quests right away.

  Actions

  This will take a while to obtain but there is a way to speed up the process in the long run. When you receive the daily fishing task (Assuming you have obtained the fisherman from the sea which is found either side of the world), it is best if you stockpile the quest fish. You can only have one quest fish in your inventory so all you need to do is put the quest fish you collect in a chest. You can now fish as many as you like, there are quite a few different quest fish so if you stockpile them, as I said this will be beneficial in the long run as you can easily just pick the fish from the quest each day and hand it in.
  
  200 quest fish and it will unlock. It is a pain but manageable, hope this helped.

  One world One Character
  1. Get Angler close to your spawn point
  2. go fishing for a quest fish
  2.1 put quest fish into chest (you can't fishing quest fish if you have in your inventory)
  2.2 fish until full of chest
  2.3 get all fish to send quest
  3. send quest at angler
  // You can only send 1 fish per Character name
  4. Change your Character name and rejoin world
  do 3-4 until you finish your Achievement
  
  you may finish in 3-4 day in game quest reset 4:30 AM careful with time
