This is for getting the
True Ending which requires you to have obtained the
Seed of Life from defeating
Fallen Kumasith prior to finishing the final fight.
*** Spoiler - click to reveal ***The regular end just shows Vivian eating a meal with her family before they all fade away, the true end has Vivian get resurrected from the Void thanks to the blessing of Mother Bear's seed of life. Upon leaving the Void Vivian plants the seed so new life can be born of it and she goes on to live the rest of her life free of the family curse just as her father and sister wanted.
I'll do my best to outline all the steps:
The first part is to acquire the Oak Seed:
You want to travel to the
Living Quarter stella then move
3 rooms to the left, if you reach the Campfire then you went 1 room too far. Starting from the far left in that room you want to ascend the platforms. You may need to use
Power Upper to gain extra height to reach them.
You will pass 2 treasure chests on your way to the celling. from the chest at the very top, to the right of it is a platform with a pile of skulls you can break. You want to stand on that platform, double jump, then midair use
Shining Assault to dash to the left. You should land on a platform with a secret passage that takes you to a room that wasn't being shown on the map before. Progressing to the room after that will give you a short scene and a small fight that rewards you with the
Oak Seed.
Next is trying to get into the door that opens the rest of The Void up:
I'm not sure what triggers the demons to spawn, but reaching this far and reading the inscription on the door should have them in the game world. Though they could spawn sooner.
The door in question is next to the
Coffinhead stella. Simply warp there, go to the room on the left, and jump up the platforms directly above you. This should lead you to a cave and upon entering you should be infront of a door that looks similar to the gateway to
The Void. The door has an inscription telling you that you must slay
3 Demon Lords to get the keys necessary to unlock it.
Fire Lord -
Travel to the Throne Room stella, you will see a young boy, talking to him will result in him turning into a demon. It's an easy fight and he will drop one of the keys upon defeat.Electric Lord -
Travel to the Deep in the Cemetery stella then travel right a few rooms until you reach the campfire. In the same node as the campfire you will see another little boy who will turn into a demon when spoken to. Defeating him will get you another key.Ice Lord -
Go to the Bluereel Village stella then head to the node on the left and then go left again. You will find yourself in a node containing another child. Talking to him will turn him into your last demon, kill it to get the key.
Now return to the door and open it, you are now in a new section of
The Void. At the end is the
Fallen Kumasith boss fight which is a separate achievement and upon its defeat you will get
The Seed of Life.
Now beat the rest of the game to get the True End.
I would recommend beating it first before you fight Fallen Kumasith that way you can reload and get both ending achievements.
