After 5 trades, you can begin the mission with the trader. He asks you to find a stash at certain prepper's caches. Each location of a prepper's cache is static, but what kind of prepper's cache it is, is randomised for each game. Most of these caches are abandoned. The first one he asks you to find, is the non-abandoned kitchen themed cache.
Here's a little tip: If you've already previously visited some of the prepper's caches, but can't remember which of them were abandoned and which of them weren't, go into your daily log and look through it. It will say if you visited a cache in certain regions, and it will say it's either abandoned or not. This will help you narrow down the one you're looking for.
