This one can be pretty easy and pretty hard to reach at the same time, for two reasons:
one the wheelslip calculations in Railworks/Train Simulator are broken, which means that your train weight is calculated into the Wheelslip and not just the power vs Stiction as in real life. A heavier train IRL necessitates more power, which makes it easier to slip, but Train Simulator adds a likelyhood factor based on the train weight to that.
That is calculated whenever the simulation is started, so even on a safe.
The best way to avoid that is to start running light, and don't save, or only save when you have the time to uncouple, save and then recouple.
The problem is, as is usual with DTG, you start coupled up to the train, which will make this a slipping nightmare.
(The wheelslip issue, has been both confirmed by a third party developer and the real world comparison by a friend who is a real life loco driver.)

To top that off, this also affects braking, both with "Normal" Air and vacuum brakes, as well as dynamic brakes.
Which leads me to another tipp on reaching this, the base 8F has no wheelslip modeled, only the Steam Sounds Supreme Soundpack, which imho is pretty much a must as it improves particles, simulation and sound has it.
It makes the loco sound like an 8F, and make it feel more like the real thing.
So drive this scenario without it, because then you will not have any problems with the wheelslip.
Which is due to the second issue, that I don't know whoever created that timetable, but it sure isn't realistic, as too keep it you will have to use regulator/Cut-off settings that are sure to induce wheelspin, and you will need to drive way too fast for an unbraked train like this.
Normally they are limited to 35 mph because the braking is that bad.
Now you can't drive 35 mph, because then you won't make the timetable............Thanks DTG!

Which means that quite often you will have to "pin" the brakes, aka apply them fully, which as mentioned above, will further introduce "Wheelspin"* which will cost you points. If you drive with the Soundmod that is, otherwise it won't affect you.

Also keep a good fire, and look out for the Signal leading into the Station before Nottingham Victoria, the Signal is usually yellow as the one at the end of the Plattform is red. So look out and brake in advance, as even at 35 mph, your train won't stop at Plattform length.
You won't AWS either, so there is no warning of passing a signal you will have to be alert and spot them yourself.

Also at the end of the Tunnel after Nottingham Victoria, is a 10 mph speed restriction, so watch out for that.
And it has a nasty other problem, while there is a marker at which the 25 mph speed restriction is supposed to begin after your passes it, DTG seems to have messed up and it actually extends a few wagon lenghts after it.
*It's actually sliding, just like with a car when you "lock up" the brakes.
