This achievement is basically unavoidable, because you need to collect all of the tapes to progress.
After unlocking the door in the kitchen and going inside, go to the far right, and there will be a tape recorder that you need to pick up, and you need to find 6 tapes in order to progress.
Tape locations:
1st tape: in the hallway on a cabinet next to the parents' bedroom.
2nd tape: on a cabinet in the hallway left to the 1st tape's hallway.
3rd tape: on the cabinet next to the front door.
4th tape: inside the kitchen.
5th tape: in the attic, it's located on a chest.
6th tape: in the parents' bedroom, when you enter the bedroom, quickly run out, because Mr. Hopp's will start running towards you, and then you can go back to collect the tape.
