Somewhere at the beginning of the game you will have access to a scanner that scans the area around you to see objects that you can interact with (activated with spacebar i believe). Simply keep using your scanner to scan the local area and after so many uses this achievement will pop. If you're playing the game properly you should naturally get this anyway.
