For the Smash and Grab achievement, your task is to complete the Dirty Ice heist within 120 seconds of starting. This is definitely a challenge, but with the right strategy and a bit of coordination, it's doable.
Playing on Normal difficulty with at least two players is recommended. As soon as the heist begins, focus on finding out the Basement code. Here’s a tip: after discovering the code, restart the game. Due to the game's mechanics, the code remains the same post-restart, which saves you valuable time in your actual attempt.
Divide the roles between you and your teammate. One should rush into the Basement to disable the alarm from the jewelry cases and grab the red keycard, while the other heads upstairs to open the VIP Showroom using the QR code. Then, reunite to open the Egg vault. This is done by one player pressing the button on the manager’s desk (to enable the red keycard reader) and the other using the red keycard on the vault. Once open, grab the Egg and two more bags of jewelry from the Showroom, and make your exit. Sounds simple, right?
Now, if you're going solo (I hear you, sometimes it's tough to find buddies for these games, especially with a high price tag), the achievement is still attainable but it’s a lot tougher. Follow the same initial steps: get the codes and restart. Depending on your spawn location, either head to the basement or through the window, grab the keycard or scan the QR code. Taking a hostage will be necessary (as they will press down the button required for the vault's red keycard reader to enable). Then, swiftly open the Egg vault door. The Quick Fingers skill becomes crucial here for fast lockpicking. Collect two bags of loot and the Egg, throw them towards, then in the van, and make a dash with all the bags to the escape zone in front of the van.
This achievement requires speed, precision, and a good understanding of the game's mechanics. Whether you're playing with a friend or going solo, quick decision-making and efficient execution are key.
