I didn't create this video and thus take no credit. However, it's helpful to note his coordinates at the bottom of the screen. He begins (from the starting pod) on the hill headed towards where you'll see the sand falling off the top of a cliff. From there you can simply follow him.
NOTE: You'll need the ice caves melted for this.
He's headed towards the Mushroom Fields (separate achievement) but he stops by to grab some of the Pulsar Quartz (what grants this achievement) ore on the way.
