As Crew, You are going to want to Keep a Stack of Rocks and Stick on you at all times to make campfires, so you dont get caught out in the cold. It also Helps to memorize where the Tents with Stoves are, as these are good places to spend the nights when it gets extra cold.
Easiest crew to do would either be Navigator (Starts with Oil lamps for warmth) Cook (Starts with a Stew, Heals 50% hunger and 25% heat), or Captain, whose survival meters drop slower than anyone elses if he is on the boat.
