This one may take some practice so if you don't get it right away, that's alright. After all, it's 500¥ to retry/redo.
The minigame itself is different than the Kiwami 2 minigame as that minigame allowed you to choose a bowling ball to help augment the ease of getting a turkey in their rendition of the minigame. It's just selecting the throwing position, throwing angle, power, and spin. You want to set your throwing position all the way to the left and set your throwing angle between either side of the first pin. If on the left, you'll want to set your spin to one left. If on the right, between 2-3 to the left so it curves between the first and second pins. As for power, it has to be in the upper 90's (93 and above). It takes a while to get used to the tempo/pattern of the angle ticker as well as the power meter. For me, I got lucky in the final frame of a 10 frame game and got the turkey there.
This was the video I used as well which uses the same strategy.
(Disclaimer: This is also the same video linked in the Xbox One version of the guide).
