  singing lyrics in the wrong order (at the final?). however, the first time I tried to get this I sung all lyrics in the game wrong and still became the idol... so try it multiple times

  What I did was not hit any buttons on the first song, and I got the achievement.
  
  The funny part is there was a time where I hit the lyrics in the wrong order to test it on the 2nd to last song and still made it to be an idol.
  
  This achievement appears to be pretty inconsistent on how it unlocks (from what I can see), so what you wrote about "trying it multiple times" is absolutely correct.
