When I found him, he was being guarded by one of the really fat monsters. I'm not sure if that's random, but just be prepared for a battle at any time. There will be a man hanging from a noose from the ceiling. When you find him, click him and the game will zoom in on a close up. Click him again to make him fall. Click him again to remove whatever item he may have with him when he falls to the floor.
