Gigachess v0.88 Update

By Rebecca Smith,
Some slick tweaks and a whole bunch of bugfixes bring us to a fresh new version!

GIGACHESS V0.88 CHANGELOG

• Click-and-drag control added for capturing Pawns -- you now have the option of holding down the left mouse button upon selecting a hero piece and releasing on any Pawn you're targeting for one smooth, single-click motion
• All the counters in the HUD now reposition based on the size of the numbers they're displaying
• When a Puzzle Attack stage ends in defeat, hero pieces now go desaturated
• Tooltips added for the buttons of the options menu (access with right click)
• A bug where 2nd wave Viper Pawns (pearl blue palette) could jump over regular Pawns has been fixed
• A bug allowing the resurrection of hero pieces not selected in the original party after loading a quicksave has been fixed
• Queen-ups able to be purchased for fewer than 5 SP in late game fixed
• Queen-up status persisting after a piece is resurrected fixed
• Master volume being adjustable with the menu closed fixed
• Hero piece campaign tooltips occasionally layering below Pawns fixed
• Resetting the game while in windowed mode now properly saves the chosen resolution
• A flaw in hit stat reporting for parties with doubled-up hero pieces fixed
• Keyboard shortcut for mute toggle removed
• Resurrect icons occasionally turning on when hero pieces are alive fixed

This thing's getting more and more polished every update and your bug reports are an important part of that :). Be sure to share anything and everything weird you run across on the community forums!
