I just wanted to reach out to you all to say sorry for the connection issues lately. AVA has, in the last few days, been subjected to a series of DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks.Given the nature of these attacks, mitigation by our Operations team and by our ISP has been only moderately successful. This has necessitated an emergency maintenance and continued monitoring by both our ISP and ourselves. While we continue to improve our ability to respond to these attacks it is considerably easier to launch a DDoS than to prevent one.
