Leviathan: The Cargo Delayed

By Rebecca Smith,
As you might have guessed, the game won't be released in February.

We are late, postponing and delaying the release due to a "seduction of artist". Our wish to improve the dramatic constituent of the story and to bring up the expressiveness to the highest level made us feel displeased of what we had achieved.

Leviathan: The Last Day of the Decade was an important milestone, it introduced the world and the setting to players. It was the very beginning of the Leviathan saga. It was. We love this game but there is no point in holding on to the past while we are looking forward to the future.

We've achieved a new level of understanding of what we do. Leviathan: the Cargo designates a new stage of Lostwood games' development and we want continue growing and to make the new game much more powerful, vivid and expressive.

Rules of business urge us to release The Cargo as soon as possible but it is not only about business. As a producer of Leviathan I'd like to say two things:

First: as a person who cares about the community, about all those people who love Leviathan, I want to say "I am sorry for postponing the game and feel regret for not releasing it in February".

Second: as an artist (seduced artist, you know) I want this game to be released only when we achieve the level of expressiveness and depth that we want.

At home, with a variety of PCs and consoles on hand from which to choose, starting with a ZX Spectrum, games are never far away there either.
