Curvatron Update 2 - Antivirus problems By Rebecca Smith, 03 Feb 2016 CommentsGist: if you had problems with Curvatron and your antivirus software, you can probably play the game now, but some features might be missing.Some users have reported that Avast and Malwarebytes detect a certain file as being malicious. The culprit was a file named greenworks-win32.node, which is part of the plugin (Greenworks) that's responsible for all the Steam-related features like uploading to Workshop, community levels, and achievements.The antivirus software would detect the file and delete/quarantine it, making it inaccessible to Curvatron and crashing it in the process. I have put in place measures to make sure the game no longer crashes under these circumstances, but the aforementioned features will remain unusable if the antivirus blocks this file. I have also tried compiling the file myself, so maybe it won't even get detected in the first place now.
